Imaging Specialist
Diagnose and treat patients using various imaging technologies such as x-ray, CT scans, and MRIs under the supervision of a radiologist. Perform diagnostic procedures to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis. Key Responsibilities:
Perform x-ray examinations on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or licensed provider. Operate mobile and stationary x-ray units to produce high-quality images in accordance with ALARA principles. Assist with room setup and maintain patient care areas well-stocked. Obtain vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy samples as needed. Requirements:
Education
Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology. Experience
Clinical radiology experience preferred. Certifications/Licenses
Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas. The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T. (R).
