Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
5+ years of marketing experience, with emphasis on lead generation, sales enablement, and digital campaign management.
Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and ability to create content and tools that support each stage.
Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred), marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp), and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO/SEM tools).
Skilled in digital marketing tactics including SEO, PPC, content marketing, email, and social media campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the manufacturing industry or a related technical field.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design software.
Position Summary
The Senior Marketing Coordinator plays a central role in driving growth strategy through targeted lead generation, marketing execution, and sales enablement. This individual will perform various Marketing functions with a central focus on the design and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns that increase awareness of capabilities and generate qualified leads for our business development team. This position requires an energic and versatile marketer who understands both creative storytelling and data-driven strategy. The role combines content creation, digital marketing, and CRM management with analytical insight to strengthen the connection between marketing activity and sales outcomes.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal experts, project managers, and leadership to develop compelling campaigns that highlight value to Dayton-region manufacturers. Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Campaign Management (40%)
Plan, execute, and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social media, digital advertising, and events to drive awareness and qualified leads.
Manage digital presence, including website updates, content strategy, newsletters, and lead forms to ensure consistent engagement and visibility.
Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities and craft messaging strategies tailored to specific manufacturing segments.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create educational and promotional content (case studies, blogs, whitepapers, and videos) aligned with the customer journey.
Maintain CRM accuracy and Lead Management processes to ensure seamless collaboration with the sales team.
Develop and manage a suite of marketing and sales enablement materials — including presentations, flyers, proposal templates, case studies, and success stories — to support business development.
Work with the sales team to identify content gaps, design impactful collateral, and ensure consistent brand representation in client outreach.
Coordinate logistics for trade shows, industry events, and webinars, including registration, promotion, and follow-up lead tracking.
Provide training and guidance to sales team members on using marketing assets, CRM features, and new digital tools.
Analytics, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement (20%)
Define and regularly monitor/report progress on key marketing metrics (CTR, MQL & SQL’s, impressions, conversion rates, campaign ROI, website analytics, and lead source performance).
Prepare and distribute campaign performance reports and dashboards for leadership review.
Analyze engagement data to optimize content, messaging, and targeting strategies for improved conversion.
Evaluate marketing tools and automation platforms for efficiency improvements and recommend system enhancements where appropriate.
Strategic Planning, Collaboration, and Brand Stewardship (10%)
Support the annual marketing and communications plan, ensuring alignment with client's growth and community impact goals.
Uphold client's brand standards and messaging consistency across all marketing channels and collateral.
Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, engineers, and business advisors to integrate marketing initiatives into service delivery.
Stay informed on emerging trends in digital marketing, manufacturing sector insights, and regional business development priorities.
Manage relationships and collaborate with client's outsourced marketing vendors.
Professional Development and Community Engagement (5%)
Participate in local manufacturing, economic development, and professional networking events to represent the client and strengthen regional relationships.
Pursue ongoing skill development and certifications to stay current in marketing best practices, digital analytics, and CRM tools.
Contribute ideas and feedback to improve the client's marketing and business development processes as part of our continuous improvement culture.
