Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

13 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or equivalent with enterprise software technology.

5 years of experience with people management.

Experience working in the SMB space.

Experience leading cross‑functional or cross‑team projects.

Preferred Qualifications

7 years of experience with people management from medium‑ to large‑sized teams.

Experience with marketing and business operations, financial analytics, or related analytical experience.

Experience in consulting and working with behavioural marketing data.

About the Job As a product‑marketing leader, you will guide every facet of the product’s journey—from positioning and naming to competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and external communications. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development—to shape the product and drive its consumer growth.

In this role, you will lead a pivotal function in Google Cloud’s Go‑to‑Market organization, shaping the SMB positioning and solution‑promoting priorities, accelerating customer engagement and growth. You’ll lead a global team that crafts compelling narratives for our repeatable, deployable SMB solutions and empowers SMB business organizations with insights and tools for meaningful value conversations. As a trusted domain expert, you’ll provide insights into market positioning, industry trends, and technology applications, directly impacting Google Cloud’s market perception and business effectiveness. Google Cloud accelerates digital transformation through enterprise‑grade solutions, helping developers build sustainably across 200+ countries.

US base salary range: $211,000‑$297,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities

Lead development of customer‑facing content, positioning Google Cloud’s value to solve industry‑specific issues.

Uncover opportunities for Google Cloud messaging within the AI landscape, leveraging market insights to drive decisions and propel our offerings.

Orchestrate collaboration across partner teams—Marketing, Enablement, Communications—promoting a shared passion for storytelling and ensuring consistent content delivery.

Manage a team of content marketers to ensure efficient execution while prioritizing team culture, development, and growth.

Stay fluent in industry trends and AI advancements; write compelling content for stakeholders to deliver at key events and speaking engagements.
