Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Kitchen Director located in Sioux Falls, SD. The Kitchen Director will oversee all aspects of back-of-house operations, including food preparation, kitchen safety, and overall operational excellence. Responsibilities include leading and training a team, managing inventory, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and ensuring timely and quality food delivery. The role also entails effectively communicating with team members and fostering a positive working environment that aligns with Chick-fil-A’s culture and core values.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Food Preparation, Cooking, and ensuring consistent product quality

Strong commitment to and adherence to food safety standards

Excellent Communication and leadership skills to manage and mentor team members

Customer Service skills with a commitment to hospitality and creating a positive guest experience

Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the food service industry is an asset

High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary or management training is a plus
