This is a hands‑on strategic role responsible for shaping our social voice, building data‑driven content strategies, overseeing daily execution, and driving measurable engagement and store traffic. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, creator, and storyteller. Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s branding, merchandising priorities, and seasonal events. Build monthly and weekly content calendars that support promotions, product launches, and company initiatives. Identify and recommend platform opportunities, new content formats, and strategic trends relevant to retail. Direct and create compelling photo, video, and graphic content that elevates Hamrick’s brand identity. Own the overall aesthetic, tone, and voice for all social channels. Capture in‑store content regularly (new arrivals, events, merchandising features, staff highlights). Ensure content aligns with broader marketing campaigns (print, TV, email, in‑store). Oversee all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube). Publish, schedule, and optimize daily posts. Manage community engagement: comments, messages, customer interactions. Maintain platform best practices and evolve the strategy as algorithms evolve. Plan and execute campaigns for marquee events: Black Friday, 80th Anniversary, seasonal sales, Charleston anniversary, and vendor partnerships. Collaborate with merchandising and stores to spotlight categories and drive traffic. Support paid social campaigns; coordinate with vendors for co‑op opportunities when needed. Produce monthly performance reports: engagement trends, follower growth, reach, top content, and improvement opportunities. Use data to guide creative direction, posting cadence, and platform priorities. Analyze competitor activity and industry benchmarks to ensure Hamrick’s stays ahead. Partner closely with the Chief Merchandising Officer and marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment. Work with store teams on content coverage for events and promotions. Support HR with employer brand content (culture, hiring needs). Qualifications

Proven ability to build and execute social strategies that drive measurable results. Strong photography and video skills; comfortable shooting and editing on‑site. Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools. Strong copywriting and brand voice skills. Highly organized, trend‑savvy, and comfortable owning projects from concept to execution. Experience running or supporting paid social campaigns is a plus. Required Experience

1-4+ years in social media strategy, digital marketing, or content leadership (retail experience preferred).
