Job Summary The Commercial Lines Renewal Marketing Associate will collaborate with carrier partners, account managers, and marketers to support renewal business marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Provide support to account managers, new business marketers, commercial lines department, and WD management; pull supporting information such as building information, experience mod history, run insurance to value estimators and loss summaries as needed.
Resolve basic and routine administrative problems; refer complex inquiries to senior team members.
Complete online rating and quoting with various carriers.
Build and maintain relationships with insurance carrier partners using strong communication skills.
Participate in training and development opportunities for insurance coverage and marketplace knowledge.
Bind excess and surplus coverage, complete affidavits, total cost forms; file for WD’s excess license and upload documents to ELANY website.
Maintain detailed documentation in agency management system.
Complete cross training as needed.
Adhere to the expectations of the E&O Plus Quality Management Program.
Collect account information, evaluate clients’ needs, discuss and agree on terms with carriers and clients, assist in preparing proposals.
Interact effectively, cooperate positively, provide guidance to contribute to agency business efforts.
Maintain required continuing education for license/professionals.
Data collection and entry of applications for insurance coverage.
Develop and maintain knowledge of commercial coverage, carrier appetite, procedures, underwriting, and risk management techniques.
Document conversations in agency management system; send confirmations; adhere to agency procedures.
Lookup carrier LCMs and pull experience mods.
Refer clients to Group Benefits and Personal Lines departments for new business solicitation.
Prepare analysis and presentations of client programs with customized proposals or summaries.
Review and verify coverage policies, correct information, and pricing for renewals.
Participate in training and seminar courses to maintain Property & Casualty license.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by agency management and team lead.
Qualifications
3 years of insurance industry knowledge.
NYS Property & Casualty license within 6 months of hire.
Strong commitment to high quality service delivery.
Able to work independently and within a team.
Able to interpret written and oral communication and respond appropriately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
Time management, problem solving, and decision making skills.
