Lead Advertising Operations Specialist, Local

Job Summary As a Lead Advertising Operations Specialist on the Fulfillment team you will be an invaluable partner to numerous Spectrum Reach departments as well as responsible for proactively researching data, metrics and analytics around client schedules for high profile events, local, and national inventory allocations. This position works with the Scheduling, Sales Operations, Yield and Inventory, Schedule Analytics and other Traffic departments while communicating and providing guidance to cross functional leadership.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Research, review and provide data analytics to cross functional teams around schedules, sell out levels and dropped spots.
Advise sales and inventory teams on possible solutions to minimize revenue loss.
Act as Subject Matter Expert of schedules, revenue and placement.
Analyze High Profile Opportunity placement to ensure client and market requirements are met.
Provide training for new team members.
Be available to work On Call.
Required Qualifications
Works on problems with moderate scope.
Works on assignments that require some judgment within prescribed guidelines.
Intermediate level proficiency in appropriate software applications or technology.
Intermediate knowledge and skills required for this job.
Ability to interpret data and apply analytics to generated and created reports.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel.
Ability to deal with internal and external clients in a professional manner.
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working within assigned deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple projects to meet target dates for delivery.
Ability to operate personal computer, spreadsheet application, database, windows.
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work in fast paced environment where demands and directions of work are changing.
Ability to influence cross functionally for results.
Knowledge of basic advertising and marketing principles.
Prior experience with XG Linear or similar traffic system preferred.
Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and with an ability to manage data as the needs of the business shift.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment and with multiple levels within the organization.
Ability to use personal computer and software applications and knowledge of and ability to work in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Ability to enforce and adhere to timely delivery in a deadline driven environment.
Ability to demonstrate superb follow through.
Ability to work while seated for prolonged periods of time.
Experience with Pilot.
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
