Position Summary

The Account Executive (AE) is the liaison between the client and Affinitiv Advertising and ensures that the client’s goals and needs are being met and performance metrics are delivered each month. He/she is responsible for delivering optimal brand presence across all advertising channels, traditional and digital (Cable, Radio, Broadcast, Digital TV including YouTube True View campaign performance, Social Media Marketing, Outdoor Billboard, Direct Mail, Email Conquest campaigns).

Position Responsibilities

  • Open jobs utilizing our internal job submission portal.
  • Work with the Traffic Manager for all production jobs.
  • Oversee client and co-op/compliance approvals and keep constant record keeping.
  • Understand how co-op/compliance programs work.
  • Make creative changes at the direction of the client and/or Account Executive.
  • Proofread ads prior to submitting to the client and final vendor.
  • Maintain and manage accurate monthly budgets for multiple client accounts.
  • Complete insertion orders and obtain media estimates.
  • Interact with clients, multiple departments, and team members.
  • Handle Direct mail, TV production, Radio production, Print ads, Point of Purchase Materials, Traffic, Microsites, Landing Pages, Web Banners, Website maintenance.
  • Execute the monthly planning creative at their sole discretion or under the direction of the Senior Account Executive.
  • Coordinate event logistics, media outreach, develop databases, coordinate mailings and assemble press packets, training kits or other materials.
  • Create and manage accurate monthly budgets for multiple client accounts.
  • Reconcile each individual account for monthly billing.
  • Track the status of each client’s job(s) in the Creative Department and verify that jobs will be completed on time.
  • Communicate with each client on a daily basis to discuss current and upcoming projects.
  • Provide input on creative strategy and initiate new jobs for the client.
  • Review and present concepts/layouts/copy to the client for approval.
  • Communicate client feedback to the Account Coordinator and/or the Creative Department and discuss next steps.
  • Direct the work of assigned Account Coordinators.
  • Travel to the client when needed.
  • Manage pitches and presentations to the client.
  • Develop the SPEC planning outlines for each individual dealer under their sole discretion or under the direction of the Senior Account Executive.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of monthly SPEC books for the client.
  • Write conference reports within 24 hours of the monthly meeting with the client.
  • Maintain Affinitiv Advertising standards in all communication, internal documents, external documents and present the company in a positive light 100% of the time.
  • Complete team 90‑day and annual reviews in a timely manner (for any Jr. Account Executives / Account Coordinators on the team).
  • Provide constant feedback to the team based on performance.
  • Attend staff meetings.

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an agency setting or equivalent work.
  • Experience in the Auto industry is preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience and knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience with client support.
  • Must be detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
  • Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain composure and function well under pressure.
  • Take initiative and be organized.
  • Experience with the Microsoft suite of products as well as Google properties (Google Drive, etc.).
  • Must be able to take direction well with ability to juggle multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Persistence when encountering obstacles to keep the project moving to completion.
  • Consistently show respect for colleagues at all levels to contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to move into problem‑solving mode whenever challenges or concerns arise.
