Full-Time - This is a seasonal position. (mid-May to end-August)

Compensation: Monthly Stipend

The Schaumburg Boomers are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated college students to be a part of the 2026 season. As an intern, you will obtain first-hand experience in the entire operation of a successful professional baseball franchise.

A Graphic Design & Media Intern will primarily be focused on helping to support the sponsorship activation, entertainment, and promotions departments. We are looking for a passionate and upbeat individual who will strive for excellence, assist in the creation of digital design projects, and create an experience fans will remember for a lifetime.

Every day is different with the Boomers, but a typical day might include:
  • Follow and adhere to creative and digital deadlines
  • Create digital graphics for website, video production, Boomers social media, etc.
  • Creation of pregame, in-game, and postgame graphics (lineups, game updates, final score, etc.)
  • Create content that adheres to the Boomers branding guidelines
  • Assist with production setup for each game
    • Deliver game scripts, statistics, lineups, and rosters to production staff
  • Collaborate with the promotions department during games
  • Participate in various community events such as parades, tabling events, etc.
  • Help with the day-to-day function of the organization. You may be asked to do several tasks. It's part of the all-inclusive experience!
You're a good fit if you:
  • Are currently attending college
  • Are able to work all 51 home games and additional off-site events
  • Proficient in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proficient in video editing platforms (CapCut, Premiere Pro)
  • Have a strong attention to detail & organizational skills
  • Have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-task work environment
  • Have superior oral communication, writing, and editing skills
  • Are highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Have a strong desire to work in a team environment
  • Have an upbeat personality with the ability to positively interact with fans
