Job Title: Sr Mechanical Designer Job Description The Sr Mechanical Designer is responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of calculations and drawings produced by designers assigned to various projects. This role involves working on multiple projects simultaneously, including reviewing plumbing designs and managing drawing revisions from code and city reviews. Responsibilities

Review and verify calculations and drawings created by designers for accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. Manage multiple projects, each with a dedicated designer, ensuring that all work meets required standards. Identify knowledge gaps among designers and provide training to reduce future design errors. Conduct thorough reviews of HVAC Mechanical and Plumbing portions of drawings. Run calculations for projects to assess and verify designers' work. Manage drawing revisions based on code and city reviews. Essential Skills

Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience in project coordination and management. Strong background in HVAC design, plumbing design, and MEP design. Ability to handle multiple retail and restaurant projects simultaneously. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with fast turn-around projects such as retail and restaurant rollouts. Experience in drafting and HVAC calculations. Proficiency in Revit is a plus but not required. Work Environment The role offers a fully remote work environment for employees not local to St. Louis, with up to 75% of the team working remotely. Local employees will be required to work in the office every other Monday and Tuesday, totaling four days a month. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $45.67/hr.
