Role Overview
This is a hybrid position that combines the responsibilities of Marketing Manager & Director of Sales/Operations. You'll oversee marketing strategy and execution, lead agent training and recruitment, streamline operations, and ensure company profitability. You'll work closely with ownership to align on vision and growth goals while building the foundation for long-term leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Branding
- Develop and oversee marketing strategies for residential, multi-family, and condo projects.
- Leverage AI tools to optimize listing descriptions, ad campaigns, analytics dashboards, and client targeting.
- Manage digital campaigns (Google Ads, social media, retargeting) to drive high-quality leads.
- Create compelling content (video, blog, email campaigns, social posts) to enhance community presence.
- Monitor campaign performance and report ROI to leadership.
- Oversee marketing staff to ensure consistent brand identity across all channels.
- Proactively bring innovative ideas.
Sales Leadership & Agent Development
- Support, train, and coach buyer agents, listing agents, and inside sales agents (ISAs) to improve conversion and sales performance.
- Help recruit, hire, and onboard new agents to grow the firm's market share.
- Set team and individual sales goals, track KPIs, and hold agents accountable.
- Provide ongoing mentorship in scripts, sales techniques, and market knowledge.
- Lead weekly sales and marketing meeting.
- Partner with ownership to expand commercial real estate opportunities.
Operations Management
- Partner with accounting manager to oversee daily operations across offices to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Develop, document, and streamline systems, processes, and policies to improve scalability.
- Track budgets, profitability, and operational performance metrics.
- Lead administrative and operations meetings to align priorities across the company.
- Ensure agent and client satisfaction by resolving issues and improving workflows.
Leadership & Future Growth
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture across all offices.
- Work with ownership to define and execute long-term company strategy.
- Participate in succession planning, with the opportunity to transition into equity ownership over time.
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Real Estate Broker license (or eligibility to obtain within 6 months).
- 7+ years of combined experience in real estate marketing, operations, or brokerage management.
- Strong knowledge of residential real estate and local market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, and retaining agents.
- Proficiency in AI-powered marketing platforms, digital advertising, and CRM systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; adaptable to individual agent needs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to assume long-term leadership and ownership.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Performance-based incentives tied to sales growth, recruiting, and profitability.
