Volunteer: Early-Stage Grant Writing

Time-In Moms, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, seeks a skilled volunteer grant writer to support our mission of providing 90‑minute, no‑cost services to mothers. The volunteer will help secure early grants to launch and sustain our volunteer‑delivered services.

Location: Morrisville, NC

Responsibilities

• Identify relevant local and national funding opportunities and produce 3–5 polished proposal templates for general operating and program support.
• Refine our case statement, impact language, and theory of change, and provide a prioritized grants list with due dates.
• Support the creation of grant proposals and documentation that expand our capacity to reduce stress, support maternal mental health, and reach more families in need.

Mission

Time‑In Moms is a community of women committed to helping mothers reclaim valuable time—90 minutes at a time. We provide three essential in‑home services: light cleaning, childcare, and meal prep, all offered at no cost and made possible through community support. Our mission is to give mothers the time they deserve and to create a supportive village of moms helping moms.
