Content Editor – Full Time

Location: Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Peoria, IL; Broomfield, CO; Cary, NC. Hybrid work model.

Pay Range: $95,000 – $101,000 per year.

Job Overview

As a Content Editor on our team, you will champion a wide range of content activities, including creating and reviewing product content, managing product imagery, part taxonomy management, pulling reports, and creating digestible graphs and charts. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze content needs, support translated content through linguistic QA workflows, and assist with data QA during post‑processing of large translation files to enable seamless system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing content support related to new and existing written content.
• Use Excel to pull reports, manipulate data, and create easily digestible graphs and charts.
• Write and review SEO‑optimized content to support business needs; edit content as required.
• Collaborate with product groups to keep Parts taxonomy up to date and deliver an optimal user experience.
• Own projects from conception to completion with keen attention to detail and organization.
• Apply ethical SEO best practices for keyword research, competitive analysis, meta tag creation, and social media optimization.
• Work closely with the SEO manager to help optimize product titles and descriptions.
• Deep understanding of content development; work closely with the development team.
• Familiarity with translation and localization processes, including translation technology and linguistic assets such as termbases and translation memories.
• Work cross‑functionally with internal business partners to understand content needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in content editing and product taxonomy management.
• 3–5 years of experience writing web or technical content.
• Experience using keyword research tools to extract insights and actionable data.
• Experience managing website taxonomy.
• Experience managing and processing large‑scale text data files for quality assurance and system integration.
• SEO experience and familiarity with a PIM.
• Excel and presentation skills.
• Experience as a digital marketing copywriter or similar content producer.
