Experienced Graphic Designer with Strong Interest in CAD-Based Photogrammetry Software
Location: GatorStep Florida
Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Salary DOE: 50,000.00-65,000.00 Year
GatorStep is growing, and we’re looking for a talented, motivated designer to join our production design team! If you’re passionate about precision, enjoy hands‑on creative work, and want to master cutting‑edge photogrammetry software used to map marine flooring, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
About the Role
This position is ideal for an experienced graphic designer who is eager to learn advanced CAD‑based photogrammetry tools used to create 2D marine floor maps. You’ll work directly with our production team to translate high‑accuracy measurements and 3D/2D models into precise, production‑ready layouts—while also contributing creative, high‑quality artwork for marine flooring designs. We're especially interested in designers who have taken ideas from screen to shelf — turning digital concepts into physical products.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- Graphic Design Experience (3+ years preferred)
- Strong design background, ideally in a sign shop or production‑based environment.
- Creative Art Design Ability
- Capable of creating complex, high‑impact artwork for marine flooring with minimal direction. Must be comfortable taking conceptual ideas and turning them into polished, production‑ready designs.
- CAD / 2D / 3D Modeling Skills
- Familiarity with CAD‑based modeling (2D + 3D). You will be trained in marine floor mapping using CAD‑driven photogrammetry software, so a strong interest in learning this process is essential.
- Vector Software Proficiency
- Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and CAD platforms.
- Measurement Accuracy
- Comfortable working with fractional measurements, templates, and technical specification details.
- Adaptability & Curiosity
- Excited to learn new software platforms and evolving workflow processes.
- Detail‑Oriented Mindset
- Precision and consistency are critical, especially when working on repetitive or technical tasks.
- Technical Aptitude
- You’ll be trained on a 2D rendering and mapping platform—basic technical ability and willingness to learn are key.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable performing hands‑on production tasks, including entering boats to test pattern fits and layouts.
