PR Manager — Corporate Communications (Telecom / Wireless / Broadband)

Start: January–February 2026

Compensation: Up to $45/hr DOE

A major U.S. telecommunications brand is rebuilding its corporate communications function and hiring two PR Managers to help lead a new era of consumer storytelling, crisis response, and internal communications across its nationwide service organization.

This is a high-visibility role supporting a business that touches millions of customers and thousands of employees every day — including field technicians, install crews, retail teams, and call centers across the country.

If you’ve managed PR for large consumer brands, navigated service issues, or supported field/operations teams in a regulated environment, this is a rare opportunity to step into impact work from day one.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead external PR for consumer-facing products (video, mobile, broadband).
  • Manage crisis communications and rapid-response for outages, service issues, and high-impact customer events.
  • Drive internal communications for a large, dispersed workforce (field technicians, operations, customer service).
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, and Creative teams to craft aligned messaging.
  • Shape proactive storytelling as the organization enters a new growth and transformation phase.

What We’re Looking For

You have 2+ years of experience in PR/comms supporting large, consumer-facing organizations. You know how to manage fast-moving comms cycles and can balance external media, internal messaging, and operational partners.

Experience that will stand out

  • PR or communications experience in telecommunications, wireless, broadband, video services, satellite TV, or consumer tech.
  • Work supporting field/tech crews or distributed workforces (retail, operations, logistics, utilities, etc.).
  • Hands-on crisis comms experience (network/service outages, billing issues, safety events, etc.).
  • B2C product PR or consumer storytelling background.
  • Experience in regulated industries (telecom, energy, utilities, consumer tech).

Bonus Points

  • You’ve worked for companies like Comcast, Charter/Spectrum, Verizon, AT&T, DirecTV, Cox, DISH, or EchoStar.
  • You’ve handled service launch PR, outage communications, or national media response.
  • Existing relationships with tech/telecom reporters.
  • Experience steering brand perception after restructuring or large-scale organizational changes.

Why This Role Matters

This team is being rebuilt with intention — new leadership, new direction, and an opportunity to redefine how a major telecom brand communicates with the public and its own people.

You won’t inherit old systems.

You’ll help create what comes next.

How to Apply

If you’re a PR professional with telecom, consumer tech, regulated industry, or field-operations communications experience — and you're ready for a high-impact role — we’d love to connect.
