As a Senior Content Designer, you will lead independent collaboration to enhance content quality and efficiency. You will influence processes, oversee team performance, and develop clear, engaging content that aligns with user needs, while working proactively to address challenges and maintain best practice standards across PayPal’s Platforms & Tools team. Essential Responsibilities
Perform work assignments using specialized content design knowledge and business expertise. Lead projects and/or programs within the content design family with moderate scope impacting a function or sub‑function. Analyze, evaluate, and make decisions within general parameters under broad supervision. Act as a subject‑matter resource for entry‑level and developing colleagues. Expected Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications
Plan and write UX content for web and app experiences across all touchpoints, including navigation, user‑interface copy, emails, push notifications, and in‑app messages. Manage multiple simultaneous projects by setting stakeholder expectations, independently prioritizing tasks, and collaborating across teams. Partner with product designers on UI flows, layouts, hierarchy, and interactions. Gather and apply data‑driven insights about customer needs and pain points to identify, propose, and craft user‑centered design solutions. Use data and research to evaluate solution impact and advocate for continuous improvement. 5+ years of experience writing and designing for digital products. Experience navigating complex technologies and highly regulated domains such as financial services or payments. Experience defining and evolving content standards, style, and terminology guidelines. Familiarity with localization and accessibility best practices. Working knowledge of Figma or similar standard design tools. Interest in designing with and for generative AI/LLM‑based systems. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science, or a related field. Compensation
