Graphic Design/Website Management - Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Marketing Director and other department members to identify, develop and implement marketing and communications strategies that support the Firm's strategic initiatives and growth objectives. The Marketing department promotes brand awareness and the reputation of the Firm to clients and the community while also supporting internal Firm communication needs, including brand standards, public relations, branding, advertising, website management, design of firm collateral, and RFP support. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Public Relations & Advertising

Evaluate and develop editorial and public relations opportunities for the Firm; prepare and distribute Firm publicity and announcements; coordinate media requests for interviews. Work with attorneys to develop content for publications and promote published articles. Coordinate responses to external surveys (Best Lawyers, Chambers, Benchmark Litigation, Vault) and directory listings. Develop and manage annual print advertising plan and editorial calendar. Design firm advertising templates (ads, HTML emails, flyers, invitations) using InDesign and Photoshop; act as the in‑house graphic artist with ongoing training. Manage relationships with advertising and other related agencies. Business Development & Marketing Collateral

Lead marketing content management; ensure content is consistently edited across all tactics and mediums. Manage the creation and maintenance of attorney and paralegal biographies and headshots. Manage the creation and maintenance of practice section descriptions. Coordinate the release of approximately five monthly practice online newsletters, obtain approvals, and post articles online. Review, edit, and design responses to RFPs, including print and presentations. Collaborate with attorneys to design, write and produce other marketing materials, as needed. Marketing Technology

Oversee the daily management of the Firm website for branding, content, user experience, accuracy and freshness using WordPress. Fix errors, add new content, and ensure proper functionality. Produce quarterly reports tracking website usage. Manage and update the Firm's social media presence according to State Bar Association guidelines; monitor social media sites and respond as appropriate. Other Responsibilities

Coordinate all internal and external requests for marketing materials and logos. Maintain department filing and catalog systems; update marketing database. Ensure appropriate content is posted to the Firm's portal for internal communications. Assist, as needed, with Firm-sponsored events—planning and onsite assistance. Provide assistance for other marketing efforts and support department needs as requested. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Desired

Three to five years of experience in a marketing position; bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to write press releases, web copy and other communications. Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail; ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience in desktop publishing (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite) and WordPress website content management system. Interpersonal skills necessary to maintain effective relationships with attorneys, team members, staff and clients. Professional image and ability to represent the Firm positively and business‑like both internally and externally. Proactive, enthusiastic, adaptable and action‑oriented. Seniority Level
