About The Role We're seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to build and grow Wand's branded social media presence across platforms. This role sits within our Growth team and will work closely with Growth (Product Marketing, Brand, Influencer Marketing) and Product teams to create engaging content that drives community growth, brand awareness, and positions Wand as the ultimate gaming companion.

You’ll own the full content lifecycle for our branded channels—from ideation and content creation to publishing and performance analysis. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be both strategist and creator, developing a distinct social voice that resonates with PC gamers while showcasing the breadth of Wand's capabilities beyond game assists. You should be someone who genuinely lives in gaming culture—the person who already follows gaming memes, participates in gaming communities, and has opinions about the latest gaming discourse.

What You’ll Do Content Strategy & Creation

Lead Wand’s social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube—shaping how hundreds of thousands of gamers discover and engage with our platform through bold, creative content strategies

Manage relationships with video production team or agencies to produce long/short form video content, providing creative briefs, feedback, and quality oversight

Create original content including short‑form videos, graphics, memes, and written posts that resonate with gaming audiences while leveraging gameplay footage, creator partnerships, and community content

Ideate and produce creative content series that highlight Wand’s features (interactive maps, game assists, video clipping, contextual guidance) in engaging, authentic ways

Stay ahead of gaming trends, news, memes, and cultural moments to create timely, relevant content with sharp instinct for what will resonate

Balance product education with entertainment and community‑building content

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with video production team on YouTube content strategy, providing creative direction and optimizing for community growth as well as translating long‑form video content into social‑first clips and promotional content

Partner with Product Managers to identify shareable product moments and turn features into community conversation starters

Work with Brand team to ensure content aligns with Wand’s positioning as a comprehensive gaming platform

Collaborate with Influencer Marketing to maximize reach of creator partnerships through strategic social amplification and repurpose creator content

Coordinate with Design team on visual assets and maintain brand consistency

Support Performance Marketing with social‑first creative concepts for paid campaigns

Community Engagement & Growth

Build and nurture Wand’s social media community through authentic engagement and conversation

Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions to foster positive community interactions

Identify opportunities for community‑driven content and user‑generated content initiatives

Extend Wand’s presence beyond owned channels by identifying opportunities to participate in relevant gaming conversations, communities, and cultural moments

Analytics & Optimization

Track social media performance across platforms using engagement, reach, and growth metrics

Analyze content performance to identify high‑performing formats, topics, and posting strategies

Provide regular reporting on channel growth, engagement trends, and content effectiveness

Use data insights to continuously refine content strategy and optimize posting schedules

Content Operations

Maintain content calendar and ensure consistent posting cadence across platforms

Manage content approval workflows with stakeholders

Stay current on platform algorithm changes and best practices

Build and maintain asset library for efficient content production

What You Need

3‑5 years of social media management experience, preferably in gaming, tech, or consumer software

Portfolio demonstrating creative content creation across multiple social platforms

Native fluency in gaming internet culture and ability to create content that resonates authentically with Gen Z and Millennial gamers

Exceptional ability to write in authentic gaming voice across platforms—from witty X posts to engaging Instagram captions to TikTok‑native copy

Strong instinct for identifying trending gaming moments and translating them into timely, on‑brand social content

Proven track record growing social media accounts and building engaged communities

Excellent writing skills with ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiences

Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple content streams simultaneously

Experience managing external contractors, freelancers, or agencies for content production

Knowledge of social media management and analytics tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.)

Data‑driven approach to content optimization and performance analysis

Nice‑to‑Haves

Background in gaming industry or deep passion for PC gaming

Experience with rebrand or product repositioning campaigns

Video production and editing skills (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, etc.)

Graphic design proficiency (Figma, Photoshop, Canva)

Experience managing social media communities through Discord, Reddit, or similar platforms

Understanding of paid social amplification and boosting strategies

Familiarity with gaming content creation workflows and gaming capture tools
