Owensboro Catholic Schools has an opening for a full time Digital Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing functions like social media management, content creation, and campaign tracking, along with skills in digital tools such as Google Analytics, email and texting marketing platforms, CRM systems, and website maintenance. The right candidate will support our mission and ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the school’s voice and brand.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Webmaster for website, including maintenance for user-friendliness, input of new content and communication with departments to keep their pages up to date.
Manage OCS’ social media including but not limited to Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter and Instagram.
Create graphics for both print and digital media to inform, educate, and promote the mission and brand of the school.
Develop, write, and edit the high school alumni magazine – The Green and White as well as weekly Parent and community emails.
Continued work with Communications team on further establishing the brand of the school via new media projects.
Creates ads and graphics for use in school marketing, advertising, social media platforms, publications, billboards, and website.
Manage photography and videography of school events, as necessary.
Creates apparel and manages the online school spirit, and fanwear store.
Perform other relevant tasks as required by the principals, CEO, or Director of Advancement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, Training, Abilities and Experience
BA required in advertising, marketing, communications, or digital media
At least one to three years of social media experience for a Non-Profit or Catholic organization
Knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram, LinkedIn, ISSUU, etc). Ability to create graphic designs quickly and knowledge of creative/design process
Experience in videography and photography required
Knowledge and structure of the Roman Catholic Church
Knowledge of theology and liturgical terms, language, and usage
Ability to establish and maintain effective positive relationships with all segments of the community
Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly and accurately, complex, and technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
Ability to operate spreadsheets, and database programs
Demonstrate creative thinking and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with others (staff, clergy, religious, etc.)
Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Ability to organize, prioritize, and utilize effective management techniques
Flexibility and availability to work evening and weekend hours
The ability to successfully complete a criminal history and background check
