We're partnering with a fast-growing consumer social marketplace that helps people form real friendships through high-quality local events. Their platform has already driven significant success for event hosts this year, and they are now looking to bring on their first dedicated Growth & Content Lead to own demand generation and set the foundation for how they launch and scale in new markets.

Role Overview The mission of this role is simple and bold : drive 50% of attendees to events through growth, content, and acquisition efforts.

This person will shape the brand, build the marketing engine from scratch, and be the first hire on a lean GTM team focused entirely on driving event demand.

Why This Role Is Important

You’ll own user acquisition and event demand end-to-end.

You’ll set the tone for all future marketing hires and define the brand identity.

You’ll work closely with event hosts - when you fill their rooms, the entire ecosystem grows.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver 50% of attendees for events on the platform.

Build organic and viral demand through repeatable content frameworks.

Create, edit, and publish high-volume original content (especially video).

Run rapid content and growth experiments; double down on what works.

Collaborate with the GTM team to support new city launches and event activation strategies.

First 90 Days

Produce 50+ pieces of original content.

Demonstrate traction in driving real attendees to real events.

Build the first version of the marketing system and playbook for future hires.

Candidate Profile

High-agency, fast executor, and tapped into cutting‑edge marketing trends.

Strong understanding of growth frameworks and first‑principles thinking.

Able to share 100+ videos they’ve created and edited themselves (non‑negotiable).

Skilled across video editing, design, and content creation.

Proven ability to build mindshare for a product across multiple communities.

Thrives in fast‑paced, high‑ambiguity environments.
