We are looking for a Senior Manager - Salesforce Marketing Platform Owner to lead the (first‑ever) strategy, roadmap, and cross‑functional execution of how Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM work together to power engagement, growth, and sales productivity. It’s a ground‑up role with long‑term impact on how we grow and serve our customers.
Location
This role is approved for remote work across the United States or hybrid out of Ferguson's corporate offices in Newport News, VA, according to company policy.
Responsibilities Platform Roadmap and Enablement
Own platform-level requirements and functional design for how Marketing Cloud, CRM and supporting tools (Brand Connect, paid media connectors) should evolve to support Sales–Marketing processes (e.g., lead lifecycle, opportunity influence, sales enablement triggers, data cloud enablement).
Near term example: Steer the modernization and migration of existing programs (ex: onboarding workflows) into CRM-enabled experiences.
Define and document cross-functional workflows that live in Salesforce, ensuring clarity on roles, handoffs, and SLAs.
Partner with Customer Engagement, MarTech, and Data & Analytics teams to support them in the delivery of integrated journeys, workflows, and automation.
Serve as the connective tissue between CRM teams, Sales leadership, and Marketing to align on shared definitions, critical metrics, and process governance.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Facilitate upstream discovery with Sales, CRM, and Marketing teams to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce-enabled use cases.
Help to establish governance for how new capabilities, data flows, and triggers are prioritized and deployed across the organization.
Future Capabilities
Translate new Salesforce features and innovations into actionable roadmap items—including AI/machine learning, predictive modeling, next‑best‑action logic, and CRM‑enriched personalization.
Evaluate and define platform-level integrations and software enhancements that enable scalable content, sales enablement materials, and connected engagement experiences.
Ensure platform enhancements tie back to business value and use case readiness
Qualifications
5+
years of experience in a Salesforce ecosystem environment, with direct exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud + Salesforce CRM use case delivery.
10+
years of Marketing Technology related experience.
B2B or B2B2C experience.
Proven ability to define roadmaps, requirements, and cross-functional workflows.
Familiarity with the mechanics of building/managing journeys, automations, segmentation, and campaign workflows in Marketing Cloud.
Strong partnership skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Technology.
Experience working with data, analytics, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing programs.
Ability to operate strategically while still rolling up your sleeves to bring use cases to life.

Pay Range $7,949.70 - $13,016.30
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
