Job Summary The Director, Business Marketing leads the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives that drive awareness, demand, and sales growth across our Enterprise, Small & Medium Business (SMB), and MDU/Master‑Planned Community (MPC) segments. This role bridges brand storytelling with revenue generation—owning the strategy, messaging, and go‑to‑market execution that empower sales teams, strengthen partner relationships, and position the company as the trusted choice for business and community connectivity solutions.
Essential Functions Strategic Planning & Leadership
Develop and execute an integrated B2B marketing strategy across Enterprise, SMB, and MDU/MPC verticals, aligned with corporate goals and sales objectives.
Define segment‑specific positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks tailored to key decision‑makers (e.g., property developers, IT leaders, small business owners, and community managers).
Partner with B2B Sales Leadership to align on pipeline goals, target accounts, and performance metrics.
Oversee budget allocation, performance tracking, and ROI measurement across all B2B programs and initiatives.
Marketing Campaigns & Demand Generation
Lead planning and execution of multi‑channel campaigns (digital, direct, experiential, account‑based, and referral) to generate qualified leads and accelerate pipeline velocity.
Collaborate with the digital/media team on paid search, display, and LinkedIn campaigns for B2B audiences.
Develop compelling content and creative assets—one‑pagers, case studies, videos, presentations—that communicate business value and differentiate our solutions.
Leverage CRM and analytics tools to identify growth opportunities, optimize targeting, and enhance lead‑to‑conversion performance.
Sales Enablement & Collateral Development
Build and maintain a comprehensive library of sales enablement materials (industry decks, solution briefs, competitive battlecards, proposal templates, and customer case studies).
Provide sales teams with timely campaign updates, talking points, and launch materials.
Partner with Product Marketing to translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes for each audience segment.
Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all B2B materials and touchpoints.
Events, Sponsorships & Community Engagement
Lead B2B event strategy, including trade shows, developer summits, chamber events, sponsorships, and exclusive customer experiences.
Develop event toolkits and playbooks for regional execution and consistency.
Collaborate with the Brand Activation team to integrate business audiences into larger community partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
Manage vendor relationships related to event production, lead capture, and post‑event follow‑up.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales & Business Development on target lists, account strategies, and local activations.
Partner with Creative & Brand Teams to ensure campaigns reflect brand standards and authentic storytelling.
Partner with Customer Experience & Product Teams to translate insights into retention and upsell initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business required; MBA preferred.
8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 3+ years in B2B or enterprise marketing.
Telecom, technology, SaaS, or infrastructure industry experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record of leading integrated B2B marketing campaigns that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
Deep understanding of event strategy, account‑based marketing (ABM), and sales enablement best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements Must be able to travel up to 20% to project sites, corporate office, vendor meetings, and other business locations as required.
