Salary Range : £36,564 to £39,957 per annum Working Pattern : 37 hours per week, Full Year or 37 hours per week, Term Time plus 3 weeks

As one of the region’s most popular and successful sixth form colleges, we are seeking a creative and dynamic professional to take on the pivotal role of Marketing and Schools Liaison Lead.
About the Role This is an exciting new opportunity to lead the College’s student recruitment, outreach, and event marketing activities. You’ll design and deliver impactful campaigns that engage prospective students, strengthen relationships with feeder schools, and showcase our college as the first-choice destination for post-16 study.
Working closely with the Careers Team, and senior leaders, you’ll take the lead in planning engaging and attractive Open Days, Taster Events, and marketing initiatives that promote our vibrant college community and excellent progression pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Lead student recruitment and marketing campaigns across digital and physical channels.
Build strong partnerships with feeder schools, careers leads, and community networks.
Deliver engaging outreach activities and presentations for students in Years 9–11.
Coordinate and deliver Open Days, Taster Days, and key internal and external events.
Oversee the Student Ambassador programme to support events and outreach.
Monitor and report on campaign and event performance using digital analytics tools.
Ensure all activities align with the College’s strategic aims around inclusion, progression, and success.
About You You’ll be a confident communicator and skilled organiser, with proven experience in event management and marketing—ideally within an educational or outreach setting. You will bring creativity, professionalism, and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young people about their future opportunities.
Essential skills include experience using marketing tools (social media, email marketing, CMS), strong presentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience of the Gatsby Benchmarks and working with schools or careers networks would be an advantage.
