Baldwin Publishing, a digital health content and web technology company, has an immediate opening for a digital content sales manager who has experience in digital advertising or subscription sales. Candidates who have worked in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or food and grocery marketing and advertising will excel in this position.
Baldwin Publishing is a global producer of health and wellness videos, articles and recipes for marketing and communications departments. For 30 years we’ve created premium content for leading brands.
We are looking for a seasoned advertising sales executive or business development manager who will expand our national book of B2B content licensing clients and develop an advertising strategy for our B2C HealthEcooks.com recipe website.
The sales executive is responsible for opening new markets for online content in retail grocery, pharmaceutical, health plans, hospitals, employee wellness and consumer media. Primary responsibilities include selling custom and syndicated content to marketing and communication departments.
Candidates should be well‑versed in digital marketing strategies, social media and content marketing.
This is an in‑house position located in the Princeton‑Philadelphia region.
The ideal candidate will have a proven sales record with at least three years of digital advertising or digital marketing experience, be highly motivated, aggressive, enthusiastic, and well‑organized.
Responsibilities
Build and manage a B2B business plan identifying opportunities and a strategy to meet and exceed sales goals.
Develop account plans for large and small opportunities working with management and support teams to build and execute sales strategy.
Collaborate with Marketing and Editorial departments.
Develop compelling and competitive proposals and RFPs.
Build long‑term relationships with clients to drive contract renewals and cross‑sell opportunities.
Keep abreast of changes and developments in industry.
Develop a deep understanding of Baldwin Publishing products and potential.
Develop a proficiency with Salesforce to produce reports, track activities and update opportunities in real time.
Solicit leads, attend trade shows and conferences on a national scope.
Travel some of the time to present company capabilities and generate new business.
Build and maintain an effective partnership with customers, decision‑makers and primary influencers in our target industries.
Requirements
3 years of relevant industry experience: advertising account management, health marketing, or digital media sales.
Ability to develop and communicate data‑driven multimedia strategies.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in business, marketing, advertising or communications.
