Position Summary Ascent Consulting is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, hybrid position based in Atlanta, GA, offers the opportunity to work on both internal and external client projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong design and communication skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support marketing initiatives for both internal and external (client-facing) projects.
Assist in the design and production of marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
Help manage marketing campaigns, digital assets, and social media channels.
Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments of Ascent to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Contribute and attend brainstorming and strategy sessions for marketing and business development efforts.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Digital marketing proficiency – familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing, content marketing.
Analytics & performance measurement – ability to use analytics tools (website, social, campaign), measure key metrics, draw insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills – for internal coordination, client work, vendor communications, content creation.
Attention to detail and quality control – catching errors, ensuring consistency in branding, proofreading material.
Adaptability / flexibility / eagerness to learn
Preferred, but not Required, Qualifications and Skills
Experience with HubSpot or other similar CRMs
WordPress or other website builders/content management systems
Canva or other graphic design platforms
Exposure to or interest in the construction industry
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or other relevant specializations
Experience working with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media analytics, campaign tracking), and the ability to draw insights and report on results.
Basic knowledge of SEO/SEM or content optimization – depending on your digital focus, a baseline familiarity with search, web traffic, etc.
