The Team: As a vital member of S&P Dow Jones Indices’ (S&P DJI) Wealth Benchmarks marketing team, this position is responsible for spearheading product marketing initiatives that enhance awareness, adoption, and engagement of S&P DJI’s wealth benchmark offerings. This role will concentrate on developing compelling product narratives and content strategies that resonate with target audiences in the evolving wealth management landscape.

As part of the broader commercial organization, Marketing is tasked with aligning product marketing activities—including product launches, content creation, go‑to‑market strategies, and client education—with specific commercial outcomes. This role is crucial in positioning S&P DJI as a leader in the wealth benchmarks space, leveraging essential data, research, and insights.

The individual will collaborate closely with product management, sales, and other marketing teams to ensure the alignment and execution of product marketing strategies that drive revenue and market share.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Development: Design and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that showcases S&P DJI’s wealth benchmark products. Create high‑quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and educational materials that effectively communicate product features, benefits, and market insights.

Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine the positioning and messaging for S&P DJI’s wealth benchmark products. Craft compelling narratives that highlight the unique value propositions and benefits to various audiences, including institutional investors, financial advisors, and retail clients.

Go‑to‑Market Strategy: Lead the development and execution of go‑to‑market strategies for new product launches and enhancements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful rollout and market penetration of wealth benchmark offerings.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform product development and marketing strategies, ensuring S&P DJI’s offerings remain relevant and competitive.

Account‑Based Marketing: Engage with key partners and clients to promote awareness and adoption of S&P DJI’s wealth benchmark products. Develop tailored marketing strategies to nurture relationships and drive product usage.

Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of content marketing and product marketing initiatives. Provide regular reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders to inform decision‑making and strategy adjustments.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in content/product marketing within financial services, with a strong focus on wealth benchmarks preferred.

Proven expertise in content marketing and content creation, with a portfolio of successful campaigns and materials that demonstrate effective messaging and audience engagement.

In‑depth understanding of wealth management, investment strategies, and the product development lifecycle.

Proven track record of developing successful product marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.

Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred).

Experience in Asset Management preferred.

Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with product launches, go‑to‑market strategies, and account‑based marketing in the wealth management or financial services space.

Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tactics, including social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.

Analytical mindset with experience in market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including product management, sales, and external partners.

Compensation & Benefits For US candidates: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
