Senior Lighting Designer
The Lighting Practice is a team-oriented workplace. We are seeking talented, motivated people who enjoy focusing on project organization and motivating team members to achieve performance objectives.
Responsibilities
Generate ideas for quick response and implement innovation to achieve design and business goals from schematic design through construction administration.
Influence and stimulate team members to collaborate in design and decision-making process.
Delegate effectively to team members, ensuring timely results.
Coordinate and report project status, labor projection, and monthly billing.
Participate in business development, assist in proposals, maintain client relationships, and promote TLP brand via design awards and publications.
Promote initiatives and collaborations to improve team and operational efficiency.
Travel to client meetings and project site visits.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional experience in architectural lighting design or a related field.
Ability to multi-task on multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
Poised, persuasive communication and action-oriented collaborative decision-making.Emphasis on effective systems that achieve results with team members.
Confidence to drive toward project goals while problem‑solving flexibly.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Software Skills
Basic experience with Revit/AutoCAD.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
