in boat design and construction. The ideal candidate is a
young, enthusiastic professional
eager to grow in the marine industry and contribute to the design and development of custom aluminum vessels. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and hands‑on involvement in the boatbuilding process. Key Responsibilities
Assist senior naval architects and project managers in the design and development of aluminum workboats, ferries, landing craft, and research vessels. Create and refine 2D/3D drawings, models, and design packages for production. Perform stability analyses, hydrostatics, and structural calculations under guidance. Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and operations teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable. Provide design support during construction, including troubleshooting and field adjustments. Research and apply industry standards (ABS, USCG, ISO) to ensure compliance.
