Social Media Coordinator
We are currently seeking candidates for a Social Media Coordinator opportunity with a global financial services firm based in Boston, MA. The Social Media Coordinator will support the Global Social Media Program by executing platform-specific strategies, creating content, managing campaigns, and supporting the firm’s employee advocacy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 1–3+ years of B2B social media experience, ideally within financial services or investment management.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity, paying $30–$37/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
Support social media strategy, planning, content creation, community management, and analytics
Develop and execute platform-specific content and campaigns aligned with business goals
Conduct audience and competitor analysis to inform content and strategy
Stay current on platform updates, trends, and algorithm changes to optimize performance
Write engaging copy and create platform-specific graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Manage content calendars, campaign timelines, KPIs, and reporting
Support the firm’s employee advocacy program and collaborate with global teams
Track engagement, reach, impressions, CTR, and conversions; deliver clear performance reports
Adjust strategies based on insights to improve campaign effectiveness
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
1–3+ years of experience in B2B social media marketing and content development, ideally in financial services
Strong Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of social platform features, best practices, and trends
Experience planning and executing social media campaigns
Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools
Creative, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational and time-management skills
