Physician – Ocular Oncology Ophthalmologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Location:

Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Position Overview We are seeking an Ocular Oncology Ophthalmologist to join the Retina Division within the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. The candidate will provide clinical care, conduct research, and teach.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in ocular oncology including medical and surgical management.

Conduct clinical research and scholarship in ocular oncology.

Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and graduate students.

Participate in departmental, divisional, and college committee functions.

Engage in service commitments at OSUWMC facilities and other clinical sites.

Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship (required by U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs agreements).

Board-eligible or board-certified in Ophthalmology and eligible for licensure in Ohio.

MD or DO degree with an approved residency and subspecialty fellowship in Retina.

Knowledge and proficiency in medical and surgical management of ocular oncology.

Demonstrated research interest and evidence of publications.

Commitment to teaching residents, fellows, and medical students.
