Are you passionate about helping students become confident communicators? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking Adjunct Faculty members to teach Introduction to Communication (COMM 101) in face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats—empowering learners with essential skills for success in college, careers, and life.

Monitor and record student progress accurately
Participate in instructional evaluation processes
Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse academic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Contribute to team efforts and uphold CWI’s values
What We’re Looking For:
Master’s degree in Communication
Ability to apply varied teaching methodologies (lectures, group activities, distance learning, technology integration)
Commitment to professional growth and development
Proficiency with technology tools, including Blackboard and Microsoft Office
Experience teaching at a community college or with adult learners preferred
Successful experience using instructional technology preferred
Additional Instructions For Applicants: Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case‑by‑case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
