The Marketing Manager/Operations Manager is a dual‑role position responsible for overseeing the daily operational functions of the I/O Fund while managing and executing strategic marketing initiatives.
This role ensures that internal systems run smoothly, workflows are optimised, and the company’s brand presence and growth strategies are effectively implemented. The ideal candidate is a type‑A, highly organised, analytical, and capable of balancing operational oversight with creative marketing leadership.
Who You Are: Data‑driven marketer and operations background with some stock market or finance experience. You are comfortable working with a founding team, some remote direct reports and a project‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities: Marketing Management
Plan and manage marketing campaigns across email, social media, website, and partner channels.
Oversee content production timelines and assist with editing, publishing, and distribution.
Manage social media scheduling, analytics tracking, and audience engagement initiatives.
Maintain and enhance the I/O Fund’s digital presence including website updates and SEO projects.
Track marketing KPIs and prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
Assist with webinars, events, product launches, and community engagement activities.
Coordinate with external agencies, designers, and freelancers on marketing deliverables.
Work well in a results‑based environment.
Operations Management
Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency across teams and processes.
Maintain and improve internal systems, project management frameworks, and digital organisation.
Learn every aspect of our publishing business and be prepared to step in at any level to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and refine SOPs, workflows, and operational best practices.
Coordinate cross‑team communication, ensuring alignment on timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
Support hiring, onboarding, and team resource management as needed.
Monitor operational performance metrics and generate reports for the executive team.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and contribute to risk management and quality control.
Manage contractors at different time zones, and ensure they are used efficiently.
Prepare operational reports, research briefs, and presentations.
Assist with strategic planning and provide insights based on operational data and market analytics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in operations management, marketing management, or a hybrid role.
Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills with ability to manage complex workflows.
Excellent project management skills with experience in digital tools and SaaS platforms.
Strong written communication skills and familiarity with content workflows.
Experience with email marketing platforms, analytics dashboards, and social media tools.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
High level of independence, accountability, and strategic thinking.
