Position Summary The Director / VP of Marketing leads the organization’s marketing strategy across human and companion animal health markets. This role is responsible for driving brand growth, enhancing market presence, and developing integrated campaigns across professional, digital, and omnichannel environments. Success requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, sales leadership, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Brand Management

Lead development and execution of comprehensive brand strategies to drive awareness, recommendations, and loyalty across key professional audiences.

Maintain brand positioning and ensure consistency across all channels and customer touchpoints.

Manage the annual marketing budget and optimize spend across markets and channels.

Partner closely with sales teams to ensure consistent messaging, field activation, and support materials.

Develop targeted sales and branding assets aligned with campaign goals and product positioning.

Professional Engagement

Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical experts, and academic partners.

Plan and execute educational programs, webinars, and speaker events for professional audiences.

Oversee strategy and coordination for major industry conferences, including booth planning and professional engagement initiatives.

Oversee development and distribution of marketing materials for professional and consumer audiences.

Ensure that all materials and campaigns comply with regulatory requirements across applicable regions.

Optimize omnichannel distribution across digital, retail, and traditional sales platforms.

Lead internal and external online marketing initiatives including SEO, digital advertising, PPC campaigns, and social media marketing.

Manage ecommerce growth across multiple online platforms.

Coordinate email marketing strategies, automated flows, and customer engagement initiatives.

Additional Duties

Provide leadership to marketing staff, including direct oversight of a Marketing Manager.

Support various cross‑functional initiatives as needed.

Travel as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical, medical foods, biotechnology, health/wellness, or related industries

Bachelor’s degree in business, science, marketing, or a related field

Demonstrated experience in brand management and product marketing

Proven success in new product launches

Social media and omnichannel marketing proficiency

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills

Technical & Systems Proficiency Experience with any of the following systems or platforms is a plus:

Digital marketing and ecommerce tools (e.g., email automation, online storefronts, subscription platforms)

Advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Meta, TikTok, retailer‑specific ad tools)

Customer service and review management tools

Common productivity tools such as macOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation software
