Senior Marketing Executive – South and Southeast Asia

Role Purpose
Collaborate with SSEA regional team to deliver the region’s annual plan to meet revenue targets and business objectives.
Work with the Market Development Manager SSEA to develop and deliver the marketing plan for SSEA markets to achieve revenue and financial objectives in all targeted market segments via key sales channels.
Independently plan and deliver effective marketing campaigns to ensure targetsare met, including strengthening of Air New Zealand brand metrics and delivery of commercial outcomes.
Manage day-to-day relationships with advertising/media agencies, tourism partners and marketing teams at trade agencies to implement campaigns in assigned SSEA markets.
Manage campaigns including budget allocation, and analysis of key metrics such as ROI.
Measure and report on results of initiatives, identifying areas of improvement for future activity.
Monitor ongoing customer and brand insights, optimising Air New Zealand activity as required.
Key Responsibilities and Outputs
Assist the Market Development Manager, SSEA in developing and delivering innovative marketing plans that help deliver brand metrics and commercial targets for SSEA.
Together with the Market Development team, implement and champion effective systems to support and measure effectiveness of trade and consumer marketing activities.
End‑to‑end management of marketing campaigns, from development of agency briefs to development of campaign concepts and delivery of the communication channel strategy.
Manage the development, analysis and reporting of key success metrics for marketing activities.
Assist in the development of marketing propositions for Air New Zealand across SSEA markets.
Identify competitor assumptions and responses, the customer/channel priorities, price/value guidelines, and the optimisation of customer insight.
Ensure that a consistent and legally compliant message is delivered through all advertising communications and channels.
Develop strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including Tourism Board partners, GSA’s, trade partners, and marketing agencies).
Partner with SSEA Online team on the planning and delivery of marketing communications across digital channels e.g. eDM and website content.
Partner with Global Brand and Communications team members at head office to deliver Brand and PR activities in SSEA markets when required.
Act as brand guardian and provide marketing support as required to other teams within SSEA.
Monitor and review related travel media channels, including competitor activities, to stay on top of trends and identify opportunities.
Any other adhoc marketing duties, admin and projects that arise.
Skill Profile
Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, preferably with some experience in travel, tourism, aviation, or consumer brands.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
Proven ability to independently plan and execute multi‑channel campaigns from concept to evaluation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to work with teams across cultures and multiple levels within a business.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link marketing activity to business outcomes.
Highly analytical and results‑driven, comfortable interpreting data to drive decisions.
Collaborative team player, comfortable working within a fast‑paced and multi‑market environment.
Eligible to work in Singapore.
