About the Role
The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for designing the core Finix payments dashboard and defining its future. Product Designers at Finix set the vision, design solutions, prototype and test, and oversee implementation of all dashboard features.
What You’ll Do
- You have experience working in fast‑paced, lean startup environments.
- You are excited to solve complex and esoteric problems in the world of payments.
- You welcome constructive criticism and solicit feedback.
- You can balance speed and quality, understanding the importance of iteration.
- You work closely with front‑end engineers and communicate effectively.
Your Qualifications
- 6+ years of product design experience.
- Familiarity with UX writing.
- Attention to detail and experience crafting detailed design specs for engineers.
- Experience conducting user research and usability tests.
- Experience using and contributing to a design system.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing B2B web applications that have shipped.
- Payments or fintech experience.
- Visual and interaction design experience.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems.
- Familiarity with web design patterns and front‑end programming.
Compensation & Location
Base salary: $130,000 – $175,000 per year + equity + benefits.
Location: San Francisco, CA.
Role level: Product Designer IV (IC4).
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior.
