Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Graphic Designer for Baby Apparel to join their team in NYC!
Key Responsibilities: • Create unique graphics and prints for girls’, boys’, and baby apparel—covering sets, separates, and pieces for a direct-to-consumer line. • Translate brand guidelines and licensed character styles into modern, engaging, and age-appropriate designs. • Manage multiple design projects independently while staying in sync with overall team goals and direction. • Drive each project from initial concept through final production-ready artwork, incorporating feedback with a positive, solutions-oriented approach. • Collaborate regularly with design, production, and licensing partners to maintain accuracy, quality, and brand compliance. • Keep up with trends in kids’ fashion, entertainment, and broader pop culture, proactively bringing new ideas and design opportunities to the team.
What We’re Looking For: • 2–4+ years of experience in graphic or apparel design, ideally with background working on licensed character programs. • Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. • Solid grasp of core design principles, including composition, color, and typography, with the ability to build clear visual stories through graphics. • Familiarity with character licensing processes and comfort working with licensed art assets. • A collaborative, proactive team member who welcomes direction, embraces feedback, and uses it to strengthen the final product. • Enthusiasm for children’s fashion and character-driven design. • Openness to learning and working within a PLM system.
