Our client is a global beauty company that develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes prestige fragrances.
Must live on Long Island and be available to work onsite in Bellport, NY five days per week.
Role Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled Graphic Package Designer with experience in beauty, luxury, and retail environments. This role focuses on creating visually compelling campaign assets, social content, premium packaging, and in-store signage. The ideal candidate blends strong creative instincts with an understanding of beauty and retail trends, collaborating closely with marketing and cross‑functional partners.
Graphic Package Designer Responsibilities:
- Develop fresh, on‑brand graphic concepts and execute designs across print, digital, social, and in‑store channels.
- Maintain an organized workflow for frequent updates to regulatory details, item codes, bottom labels, and packaging components.
- Create and resize product ads for publications, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Design printed collateral including mailer cards, event signage, and promotional materials.
- Render and design in‑store merchandising assets such as counter units, tester displays, end caps, shelf talkers, and seasonal/holiday visuals.
- Produce simple animations and GIFs for web.
- Retouch and edit photography as needed.
- Prep, package, and deliver final artwork files for print vendors.
- Concept and execute packaging for gift sets and specialty items.
- Create presentation templates and sales support tools for internal teams.
Graphic Package Designer Qualifications:
- 3‑5 years of professional design experience, ideally within beauty, luxury, or lifestyle categories.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating 360‑campaign development, packaging design, retail and visual merchandising, and digital creative.
- Advanced knowledge of print production and artwork file preparation for high‑end packaging.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience with 3D rendering software is a plus.
- Strong eye for color, typography, composition, and image retouching, with an understanding of luxury and beauty branding.
- Highly organized with excellent time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
