Responsibilities
- Prepare, present, and evaluate music curriculum designed to support pupil learning experiences.
- Develop, enforce, and interpret student behavior policies for students, parents, and the community.
- Execute board and administrative policies both within the classroom and at school‑related activities.
- Maintain attendance records, grade books, and other documentation to track student progress.
- Collaborate with parents, principals, Director of Pupil Personnel, Instructional Supervisor, and fellow teachers to facilitate student learning and development.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid Kentucky Teaching Certificate through Mercer County Schools.
- Experience in Instrumental and Vocal Music instruction.
- Ability to design, deliver, and assess engaging music lessons.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with parents, staff, and the wider school community.
