Junior Producer & Studio Operations Coordinator
Q Department is seeking an entry‑level Junior Producer & Studio Operations Coordinator to join our Tribeca studio. This role blends production support, client experience, and studio operations – perfect for someone passionate about sound, film, and the creative process who wants to grow into a producer role.
You’ll be the anchor of the day‑to‑day studio experience, supporting sessions, coordinating with senior producers, maintaining a best‑in‑class environment for clients and collaborators, and ensuring the studio runs smoothly on all fronts.

Core Responsibilities
Client Experience & Hospitality
- Serve as the first point of contact for all clients and collaborators entering the studio.
- Manage hospitality throughout the day: lunches, coffees, dietary needs, and session‑specific requests.
- Maintain the atmosphere and readiness of each room, ensuring a premium client experience from arrival to wrap.
- Build relationships with trusted food, beverage, and supply vendors.
Production Support (Junior Producer Track)
- Assist senior producers with session prep, booking, scheduling, and light coordination.
- Support audio engineers during sessions by ensuring materials, assets, and client needs are organized.
- Help track project deliverables, timelines, and basic documentation.
- Update internal project notes, follow‑ups, and communication logs.
- Sit in on select sessions and reviews as part of your producer development path.
Studio Operations & Facilities
- Oversee daily studio maintenance: cleanliness, readiness, pantry and supply stock, room resets.
- Coordinate with cleaning staff, building management, and contractors for small repairs or maintenance needs.
- Maintain organization systems for equipment, props, storage, and studio workflow.
- Handle daily operational logistics including deliveries, pickups, and vendor appointments.
- Assist in managing incoming inquiries, sales leads, and client outreach trackers.
- Maintain CRM or internal client systems, ensuring information is clean and up to date.
- Prepare or update simple decks, one‑sheets, or materials for pitches and presentations.
- Support leadership with research, session data, and general organization.
Administrative & Coordination
- Manage internal studio calendars for sessions, bookings, meetings, and facility uses.
- Maintain inventories, checklists, and internal systems for smooth operational flow.
- Coordinate session‑day logistics with precision and minimal oversight.
Skills & Experience
- Background in hospitality, production, studio operations, or client services (internships included).
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail‑driven.
- Warm, polished communication style – confident with clients and talent.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a high‑pressure creative environment.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and appreciation for premium studio experience.
- Interest in sound, film, advertising, or production and a desire to grow into a producer role.
