Executive Director, HIV Treatment Marketing Gilead Sciences seeks an experienced marketing leader to champion the launch of a groundbreaking once‑weekly oral combination therapy for people living with HIV. This leadership role reports to the Vice President, HIV Treatment and Franchise and will drive the strategic preparation and execution of the launch of ISL‑LEN across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing plans for ISL‑LEN and the long‑acting HIV treatment market.

Manage the partnership with a third‑party in the U.S. and maintain alignment with the HIV Treatment Marketing leaders for QD assets.

Achieve revenue targets and drive the payer access strategy to secure market pull‑through.

Lead a cross‑functional team of marketing professionals, coaching and developing talent.

Collaborate with the global team and sales leaders to ensure a coordinated approach, and partner with Legal, Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, and Managed Markets functions.

Cultivate relationships with key customers, customers, thought leaders, and professional organizations.

Represent the ISL‑LEN marketing position on the Promotional Review Committee and the global commercial team.

Preferred Qualifications

15+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including expertise in marketing strategy, tactics, and commercial policies.

Proven record of leading product launch and brand growth initiatives.

Strong strategic capabilities with a multi‑dimensional marketing and business plan experience.

Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executive staff.

Experience managing cross‑functional teams and direct reports, with a strong financial management background.

MBA preferred; Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields required.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with sixteen years of experience OR Master’s Degree with fourteen years of experience OR PhD with fourteen years of experience.

Salary Range Base salary: $302,005.00 – $390,830.00. A discretionary annual bonus, stock‑based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package are available.
