We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and problem-solving Marketing Manager to become an integral part of our team. This role requires a hands‑on and inquisitive team member with a can‑do, test‑and‑learn, entrepreneurial and innovative mindset. You will own and execute the strategy for Sabai’s direct‑to‑consumer channel and be responsible for driving DTC sales growth, increasing marketing efficiencies, and enhancing customer engagement and loyalty. This role will work directly on all aspects of the DTC business, including customer acquisition, retention, and cross‑channel marketing analytics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building out data‑driven marketing strategies, managing and optimizing campaigns, and scaling digital businesses. This is a hybrid role based in New York, NY, with up to 50% in‑person time (flexible).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage & Execute Sabai’s Marketing Strategy
Own Sabai’s overall marketing roadmap—setting strategy and driving execution across web, acquisition, retention, and analytics. Manage the ecommerce business with full ownership of KPIs including traffic, revenue, conversion rate, new customer acquisition, retention, and overall marketing efficiency. Oversee budgeting, pacing, and forecasting to maximize sales and ROAS. Conduct ongoing audits across channels, continually optimizing for conversion, efficiency, and customer experience. Own the Website & Ecommerce Experience
Oversee the full website experience - continuous optimization of site performance, navigation, merchandising, and UX. Lead A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, landing page development, and web analytics to drive improvements in conversion and average order value. Manage our external development agency, ensuring timely execution and continuous learning and iteration. Implement site enhancements directly when applicable, and be excited to test new functionality and user flows. Drive New Customer Acquisition
Build and execute strategies across owned, earned, and paid channels to drive new customer growth. Partner with our paid advertising agency to develop and evaluate multi‑channel acquisition strategies (paid social, paid search, etc.). Collaborate with design and creative partners to develop high‑performing ad sets and creative assets. Analyze and optimize acquisition KPIs including CAC, ROAS, AOV, and conversion rates. Enhance Customer Retention & Loyalty
Own Sabai’s Email and SMS programs—calendar planning, segmentation, testing frameworks, and performance. Manage agencies while driving strategy to increase revenue, repeat purchase rate and customer lifetime value. Develop and refine customer segmentation and personalization strategies across email, SMS, website, and other touchpoints. Leverage customer insights, surveys, and behavioral data to improve retention strategies and reduce friction in the customer journey. Deepen Customer Experience Across All Touchpoints
Improve the post‑purchase experience—supporting initiatives that drive satisfaction, referrals, and repeat purchases. Lead experimentation across the customer funnel to identify opportunities to improve engagement and loyalty. Collaborate with Operations to optimize onsite communication, customer service messaging, and fulfillment expectations. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with design, creative, product, and operations to ensure consistent, on‑brand storytelling across channels. Manage key agency and contractor partnerships (Paid, Email/SMS, PR, Affiliate, Graphic Design) ensuring alignment and performance across the marketing ecosystem. Partner with the Product team on new launches—positioning, messaging, go‑to‑market strategy, and timelines. Support the C‑Suite and Finance team with data‑driven insights to guide decision‑making across the DTC business. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
4+ years of experience in DTC or ecommerce marketing, ideally within a high‑growth, early‑stage environment. Proven ability to develop and execute full‑funnel marketing strategies across acquisition, retention, and web. Deep understanding of digital marketing channels including paid social/search, SEO, email/SMS, CRO, and web analytics (GA). Experience managing ecommerce websites and running A/B tests, optimizing landing pages, and improving conversion rates. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable strategies. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally across creative, product, and operations. Self‑motivated and highly organized, with the agility and resourcefulness needed to thrive in a lean startup environment. WHO YOU ARE
