Senior Product Designer, Visual Lease & CoStar Real Estate Manager Job Description

About the Role With the acquisition of Visual Lease, CoStar Real Estate Manager is in the beginning phases of integrating the two solutions. We need a Senior Product Designer to build new experiences, iterate designs, and incorporate stakeholder feedback. Located in Richmond, VA, this is an office‑based full‑time role (5 days per week).

Responsibilities

Produce designs—user flows, high‑fidelity wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes—to achieve the desired customer experience.

Advocate for users in cross‑functional teams with product managers, architects, and engineering.

Create intuitive products that elevate user experience using best practices, current design trends, and user research.

Collaborate with product managers, executives, and stakeholders to incorporate design requirements, visual treatment, and content structure.

Manage multiple concurrent design projects from concept through production.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

5+ years relevant design experience working with a product team.

Experience designing complex, enterprise‑level web applications.

Effective communicator who can clarify requirements.

Experience with robust design systems and atomic UI principles.

Strong sketching, prototyping, and stakeholder feedback skills.

Proficiency in Figma.

A portfolio of well‑designed, user‑centered projects.

Demonstrated cross‑functional collaboration.

Track record of commitment to prior employers.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with multi‑tenant applications and highly interactive user bases.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (a plus).

Experience with workflow design principles/concepts.

Familiarity with financial modeling and financial visualization concepts.

Understanding of data modeling within business domains.

Proactive self‑starter who simplifies complex problems.
