Studio Coordinator Role As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you support the world‑class CorePower Yoga studio experience, coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth toward all company and studio‑level goals. This part‑time, entry‑level position allows you to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
Act as an ambassador of CorePower Yoga Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio‑level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
Commit to a flexible schedule of 18–29 hours per week in studio – supporting operations coordination, teaching (if certified), health and safety protocol execution, front‑desk guidance, and team support.
Must be flexible with schedule availability within the hourly commitment in service of the studio and team.
Serve as the studio‑level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present.
Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times (cleanliness inventory, locker‑room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.).
Engage and know your studio community consistently – greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga inside and outside the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community.
Support our teachers’ learning experience of working the POS and other pre/post‑class duties.
Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol
Uphold high standards for the studio and, when on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets CorePower Yoga standards of cleanliness and functionality – safe environment, optimal heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean, clutter‑free surroundings in all areas.
Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit.
Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) – cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the CPY cleanliness protocol is always followed while on duty.
When scheduled, support coordination of the SET – shift scheduling, stepping in for no‑call/no‑shows, and training.
Lead orientation for new SET members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams – communicating and coordinating studio operational systems:
Point of Sale System (POS) – navigate efficiently to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and correct student account issues.
Online Reservation System – support follow‑up of late‑cancel fees, waitlists, student support, etc.
Subbing Application – support training and usage for the teaching team.
HRIS Application – support training and usage for teaching and SET teams.
Help Desk – submit facilities tickets when on duty and communicate follow‑up needs to the Studio Manager.
Teaching Schedule
Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 CorePower Yoga classes per week and subbing additional classes as needed.
Skills & Experience
Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
Excellent oral communication, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Experience in Customer Service required.
Completion of a Yoga Alliance 200‑hour program preferred.
Yoga Sculpt teacher training preferred.
Familiar and comfortable with studio systems such as HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling and payroll systems.
Ability to build relationships with individuals of diverse personalities and styles at various levels of seniority.
Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
Proven self‑starter with the ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Ability to take initiative and prioritize.
College (BA/BS) preferred.
Fine Print
Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership schedules – morning, evening, weekend and some holiday availability and flexibility required.
Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach a class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio.
