R-16563**Your Role**As a Gensler **Senior Interior Designer**, you are passionate about your craft and combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You have exceptional design skills, a background in architecture or design, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. You are an integral member of the design team who contributes a point of view and craves participation in conceptual thought process and design exploration. **What You Will Do*** Lead interior design teams on projects* Collaborate on workplace interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedules* Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents* Participate in selection of furniture systems and specifications* Provide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction* Work with consultants, developers, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives* Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination* Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs* Participate in business development and marketing efforts* Assures design conforms to contractual agreement with client* Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships* Provide quality control reviews, QAQC of milestone drawing and FF&E specification deliverables* Provides coaching and mentorship to team members* Contribute to the recruitment process of new staff**Your Qualifications*** 15+ years of experience as an interior designer, with a focus on hospitality interiors and workplace design experience* Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school* NCIDQ or Certified Interior Designer required* Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D, Rhino, Grasshopper, and other modeling software programs* Experience on interior renovation of historical buildings will be highly valued* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)* Strong knowledge of the design process, knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, millwork design, accessories, and specifications* Experience with construction document preparation* Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas* Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills***All applications must include a portfolio for full consideration.***\*\*The base salary will be estimated between $120,000 - $135,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
