Trendset is a performance-first, content-obsessed ad agency helping modern brands scale across social, search, and digital platforms. We build trend-driven campaigns that convert attention into action—and now we’re looking for a creative, detail-obsessed Short-Form Video Editor to craft thumb-stopping, viral-ready content for TikTok and Reels.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who lives on TikTok, understands viral formats, and can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping edits that convert.
Responsibilities Short-Form Editing & Post Production
Edit TikTok-style videos (7–60 seconds) using brand assets, influencer clips, UGC, and stock footage
Apply trendy transitions, sound effects, captions, and motion graphics to match platform-native styles
Create multiple versions of a single video to A/B test hooks, CTAs, and pacing
Format videos for vertical (9:16) output optimized for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
Stay on top of TikTok trends, viral editing formats, and sound usage
Add dynamic on-screen text, animations, emojis, and visual callouts to boost retention
Work closely with content strategists, creators, and paid media teams to align edits with goals
Organize and manage project files using internal systems and shared drives
Deliver on tight deadlines while maintaining high creative quality
Required Skills
2+ years of experience editing short-form video content, especially for TikTok or social ads
Proficient in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools (After Effects a plus)
Deep knowledge of TikTok aesthetics, creator culture, and visual storytelling
Ability to edit quickly while maintaining clean, engaging cuts
Familiarity with hooks, pacing, and platform-specific best practices
Bonus: Experience editing for DTC brands or e-commerce content
