Global Social Media Specialist

and help us accelerate our social media and employee advocacy strategy. We’re looking for a

data-driven, strategic thinker

with a solid background in digital marketing and a passion for creating impact through social media.

In this role, you will contribute to

shaping and executing our social media strategy

with a consultative approach, making best practices easy to apply across the organization and driving measurable results through smart activation.

The position is limited to 18 months and serves as parental leave coverage and is anchored in our global digital marketing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategy & Planning : Support the MarCom team to develop and manage social media strategies and content calendars aligned with Danfoss Drives’ marketing objectives.

Consultative Collaboration : Work closely with our Global MarCom Project and Content Team to support content planning, offering guidance and best practices that increase the pace and quality of social media output.

Boost Advocacy : Expand and optimize employee advocacy programs to amplify our brand voice.

Activate Paid Campaigns : Plan and manage paid social campaigns, with a strong focus on LinkedIn, leaning on our digital marketing agency.

Analytics & Reporting : Monitor performance metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and share insights to inform future strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with other global marketing specialists to ensure social media efforts align with broader goals.

Trend Awareness : Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and tools.

What We're Looking For

Drive B2B success:

Expertise in social media strategy for B2B, especially LinkedIn—covering content planning, channel management, and campaign execution.

Consult and collaborate:

Partner with global and local teams, delivering clear guidance and actionable insights.

Build and engage communities:

Skilled in fostering interaction and meaningful engagement across social platforms.

Communicate with impact:

Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.

Think creatively & adapt:

Creative mindset with agility to embrace trends and platform changes.

Master tools & optimize:

Proficient in social media platforms, analytics, and open to leveraging AI for smarter activation.

Analyze and optimize:

Solid understanding of social media algorithms, analytics, and their connection to the wider online marketing environment.
