As the Director of Sales & Marketing with Hilton Logan Boston Airport, you will oversee commercial strategies for the hotel, improving performance by connecting strategy and business processes. Hilton’s Commercial Services organization drives sales, revenue, marketing, catering, events, call centers, and analytics, forming the core of Hilton’s “commercial engine.”

What will I be doing?

Design, develop, and deploy creative, dynamic, and impactful business strategies for the Americas, leading the Hotel Sales and Marketing process.

Move business analytics and processes to a predictive and prescriptive approach, driving performance.

Develop and communicate commercial strategies and standards through structured cadence and analyse revenue performance against goals.

Facilitate delivery of the Americas Commercial Operating Model, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and networking skills.

Strategy

Produce the hotel’s Annual Multi‑Year Commercial Strategy Plan alongside on‑property leaders and regional support.

Align performance needs with Hilton enterprise solutions in each key segment served by the hotel.

Set strategy and deliver hotel revenues for group rooms, banquets, catering, business transient, and leisure transient.

Ensure Business Review Guidelines, Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies, and other pricing components maximize sales and catering opportunities.

Support B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and communications; guide e‑Commerce teams for accurate online content.

Develop optimal business mix, validate revenue forecasts, and approve retail and group pricing strategies.

Collaborate with Executive Committee to maximise profits in line with GOP and EBITDA targets.

Develop and execute departmental expense budget and forecasts.

Maintain real‑time knowledge of competitor and market activity.

Execute the Sales and Catering Sales annual SIP (Sales Incentive Program).

Leadership

Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly Sales & Marketing Optimization Process, translating outcomes into actionable business strategies.

Contribute to annual Commercial Cadence communication on performance and drivers.

Conform to Hilton brand standards and utilize all communication tools.

Recruit, retain, and develop all sales and marketing roles, including ongoing performance development.

Conduct performance reviews for direct reports and dotted‑line reports: Group Sales, Business Transient Sales, Leisure Sales, Catering Sales, Marketing.

Facilitate a culture aligned with Hilton’s DEI and ESG goals.

Ownership, Customer, and Stakeholder Relations

Own performance and commercial activity reporting for the hotel.

Present commercial strategies to key business partners and ownership groups, ensuring transparency and relevance.

Liaise with Hilton Worldwide Sales, regional support, and brand teams.

Build relationships with CVB, community influencers, and third‑party travel partners.

Engage customers across all sales segments and support high‑impact site visits and pre‑convention meetings.

Support sales managers’ travel into feeder markets.

Qualifications

Hotel Sales, Catering, or Marketing experience.

Leadership management experience.

Ability to travel.

Experience in hotel management or related industry.

Highly professional presentation and communication skills (oral and written).

Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office.

Ability to conduct critical analysis.

Preferred Capabilities

Four‑year college degree.

Experience with business strategy, planning, and development.

Multilingual ability.

Multiple brand experience.

Compensation Salary range: $155,000–$190,000, based on experience and location.
