Creative Producer I
Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedic surgical device design, research, manufacturing, and medical education. The Media Production team, based at our global headquarters in Naples, is growing and looking to add a Producer, I. This position will be responsible for producing quality video content with Medical Education, Product Management, Marketing, Human Resources, and other departments, while collaborating with the Media Production team throughout the creation process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pre‑Production:
Meet with stakeholders to identify messaging and determine project scope and requirements.
Contribute to creative direction and translate corporate and medical education content requests into production plans.
Coordinate with Producers and the Production team to align financial and design aspects with project goals.
Develop story outlines, scripting, interview questions, and shot lists.
Production:
Ensure production equipment is tested prior to a shoot (white balance, lighting, camera exposure, audio levels).
Develop strategies for scheduling, cinematography, lighting, and performances.
Direct on‑screen talent to meet Arthrex quality standards and engage the audience.
Post‑Production:
Collaborate with partners to produce high‑quality digital media that educates audiences.
Enforce standards and guidelines for consistent corporate identity.
Conduct quality control review of footage and guide editing processes (tone, music choice, special effects).
Propose post‑production ideas to preserve the project vision and evaluate workflows for continuous improvement.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
5 years of related experience with a high school diploma OR bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of related experience required.
Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements / Specialized Courses and/or Training
Work effectively with diverse team members in a collaborative environment.
Advanced video production communication skills for on‑set direction.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment and work autonomously.
Problem‑solving skills for moderate‑scope, complex tasks.
Intermediate on‑set directing skills and knowledge of pre‑ and post‑production best practices.
Intermediate knowledge of industry‑standard camera, audio, and lighting equipment.
Intermediate storytelling abilities through written and visual means.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Apple operating systems.
