At TempWorks, the Marketing Manager is responsible for increasing market awareness of TempWorks’ software products and payroll services throughout the temporary staffing industry. The Marketing Manager develops communication pieces that unify company voice and brand, develops processes to support the company’s goals, and leads the Marketing team.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages the daily activities of 2 direct reports: Content & Social Media Specialist, Senior Designer

Responsible for coordinating new hire orientations and ongoing staff training

Oversees timekeeping procedures and provides payroll approval

Implements annual performance evaluations and frequent one-on-one check-ins with employees

Responsible for implementing appropriate disciplinary action, including up to termination

General Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events

Plan and implement marketing strategies to raise awareness of the company’s brand and product offerings

Lead and implement all areas of content generation across various media platforms (web, print, social media, email, etc.)

Develop social strategy for brand campaigns across all social media platforms and owned channels (emphasis in Google, LinkedIn, and Twitter)

Monitor social media on a daily basis and engage in conversations on behalf of the brand when appropriate, collaborating with internal teams to craft responses when necessary

Identify emerging social channels and influencers while maintaining partnerships with existing channels and partners

Develop, execute, and analyze results of marketing campaigns (print, email, and web)

Manage trade show activities, coordinating planning with sales personnel and suppliers

Provide content creation for the company website

Coordinate with sales, suppliers, and operations to identify and target specific market opportunities requiring marketing support

Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

Advanced understanding of Marketing procedures and systems such as Google, LinkedIn, Twitter

Ability to work independently

Education and Experience

Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

4+ years of experience in Marketing

2+ years in a Marketing Manager or similar role

Proven ability to execute marketing plans with high attention to detail

Ability to translate marketing strategy and business objectives across various media platforms

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Results driven, demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize deliverables

Marketing project management and/or event management experience

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times

The pay range for this role is: $80,000 - $116,000
