Civil/Land Development CADD Designer

We are seeking a
Civil/Land Development CADD Designer
for Edgewood Properties, Inc. The selected candidate will work full‑time in our creative office located in Piscataway, NJ.
Responsibilities
Draft commercial/residential site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including geometry plan layouts, utility plans & profiles, grading & drainage plans, roadway plans, sketches, exhibits, and special notations.
Use GIS software to obtain required site images and incorporate them into project drawings.
Use third‑party applications (e.g., Auto‑TURN, Photoshop) to generate drawings based on specific project requirements.
Prepare NJDOT & NJDEP permitting plans.
Collaborate with Department Managers and Project Engineers to understand project scope, schedule, budget, and responsibilities.
Complete drawing and project responsibilities within the defined scope, budget, and schedule.
Review drawings for completeness and compliance with the original design plan.
Coordinate project requirements with team members and provide assistance when necessary.
Organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files, and related information in a logical and well‑structured manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or Technical School Certificate in Computer‑Aided Drafting/Design.
Two or more years of CADD experience in Civil Engineering, Land Development, or related projects.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 or newer, including layer and viewport management, drawing scales, plotting, and pen tables.
Strong ability to multitask and maintain consistent workflow.
Attention to detail with a consistent work flow.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and resolve issues independently.
Team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
